Under the direction of Mr. Michael King, the Altamont choir ushers in the winter holidays with songs from around the globe.

I've landed, gathered my bags, and stepped out of the airport, and breathed in my first contact with a foreign land.
What now?
Have I been empowered to handle adversity? Do I know how to hail a cab or drive on foreign roads?  To break language barriers? To joyfully embrace new worlds?
Or, am I the perpetual tourist, looking for the bus and guide, and the sanitized version of experience?   If left to fend for myself, will I be paralyzed?

How to prepare for foreign excursions:

Option 1.  Learn a new language

Option 2.  Learn some local music

Option 3.  Let Google do it for you!  (please, refer to options 1 and 2)
